Energy Hunter was founded in March 2021 in Houston, Texas, with a mission to revolutionizing renewable energy and charging experience across the world.

At Energy Hunters, We prioritize simplicity with user-friendly, pay-as-you-go charging—no accounts or recurring bills, just swipe your card like at a gas pump. Convenient and hassle-free for everyone.

Our Vision

Energy Hunters is committed to making renewable energy solutions easy to access, empowering all stakeholders to participate in a sunstainable future.

Our current electric grids are not designed to handle the influx of EV Charging stations

Problem

Without an innovative grid solution, the majority of US cities will risk having grid blackouts and exorbitant electric bills.

The current electric grid is based and sized on the supply and demand of electricity from historical data.

EV Charging stations will disrupt this model due to their high voltage requirements. Cities will have to rely on expensive reserve energy from fossil fuels.

Our solution provides the answer to the complexities and challenges of our current grid.

Our solution is based on leveraging existing wind, solar, and battery storage

Solution

We provide renewable energy to EV Chargers in our network – when and where its needed

We establish long-term partner ships with selected site partners that secure recurrent revenue streams into the future.

We build stationary and portable EV chargers with batteries to add flexibility to customers to use when and where they need it.

Our deployment doesn’t depend on each utility’s regulations that require substation upgrades on new site installations.

Our solution is scalable in many midsize and small cities, specially where commuting is required.

Why us?

We are innovating in technology, accessibility for everyone, and making charging easier for everyone

Your refueling stations can be retrofitted to add DC fast chargers

Matt Aldeman

Assoc. Prof., Technology, Illinois State University

Prof. Matt Aldeman research is focused on the optimization modeling for charging sites to include solar and mini-energy  storage co-location. This has led to the development of remote-control charging and price optimization. In addition, Matt helps Energy Hunters correctly size solar systems and battery storage systems.

David Loomis

Prof., Economics, Illinois State University

Prof. David Loomis specializes in regulatory policy issues in electricity, natural gas and telecommunications with an emphasis in renewable energy. Specialties: Electricity, Natural Gas, Telecommunications, Forecasting, Renewable Energy, Wind Energy
